Using Java Messaging in Real-Time Trading Systems |
Yakov Fain will be making a presentation on the Java Message Service (JMS). Any modern financial trading system is a complex distributed application that runs on multiple platforms and consists of components and services that have to communicate with each other. This presentation is about using JMS and Message-Oriented Middleware as a backbone that provides a fast and reliable delivery mechanism between various components and tiers of such systems. |
This presentation is based on Yakov's real-world experience in design, development, and production support of an application that had to wire together midrange computers with J2EE and LDAP servers, non-Java stock exchange software, and mainframe legacy reporting systems. Yakov Fain has been running Smart Data Processing, Inc. since 1996. |
