Diane Liporace joined the Garden State Java User Group leadership team in June 2025. She previously served as an Advisor.
Diane holds a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Computer Science. She is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Math and Computer Science Department at Drew University, where she teaches programming languages, including Object-Oriented Programming in Java. Diane believes the Java Users Group is a great way for students to connect with industry experts and learn how Java is being used to solve real problems.
Before working in academia, Diane was a Staff Level Software Engineer at IBM automating semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes.
